  • incarnational ministry catalyst - 

    Rondall leggett

    Serving the needs of your neighborhoods is one of the best ways to show people JESUS. You're fleshing out the gospel. Your putting skin on Jesus in the community. We call that Incarnational Ministry. Our North American Mission Board calls it SendRELIEF! Access their resources HERE.

  • Bethel community center

    The mission of the Center, located at Bethel Community Church, 600 E. Tabor Avenue in Fairfield, is to "Empower Youth through Mentoring, Violence and Substance Abuse Prevention, and Health & Wellness." The Center is an exceptional example of church, government, and community joining forces to bring help, hope, and a future to the youth of Fairfield!     Churches with effective ministries that address social justice and the poor:

  • migrant farm workers ministry

    Feeding Those Who Feed Us - FTWFU ministers to impoverished migrant farm workers across California by offering spiritual guidance, medical/dental care, and material needs. It generally begins in mid-June and ends in mid-August.

     

    The ministry offers New Testaments in either Spanish or English along with staple food items for each family. Children under 12 receive a modest supply of new clothes, and the program provides Vacation Bible Schools at numerous locations across the state, where churches like yours can provide leadership.
